LITTLE ROCK (May 1, 2020) – The Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas will hold a previously scheduled special board meeting via videoconference at 10 a.m. on May 4 originating at the UA System – Cammack Campus in Little Rock.
Please note that the meeting will begin with an executive session at 10 a.m. and the videoconference of the regular session is expected to begin streaming at 10:45 a.m. Any decision reached by vote in executive session will be publicly announced as the regular session begins.
The Board is meeting as part of its regularly scheduled Covid-19 updates and will include mostly pandemic-related topics, with additional items to include a University of Arkansas at Fort Smith (UAFS) resolution regarding a sales tax extension and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) academic restructuring plan.
Campus officials, members of the media and the general public will be provided video conferencing access through Zoom for virtual viewing. All campus officials and regular attendees are urged to access the meeting online and not travel to the UA System Administration building. Due to recommended social distancing procedures related to the Covid-19 pandemic, members of the public and the media wishing to observe the proceedings are also urged to view the meeting online.
