March 16, 2026 by Nate Hinkel

LITTLE ROCK (Monday, March 16, 2026) – Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders today announced the appointment of Ashley Caldwell, of Little Rock, to the Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas. Caldwell, who replaces outgoing board member Kelly Eichler, will serve a 10-year term that will expire in 2036.

“I am excited to welcome Ashley Caldwell as the newest member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas,” said UA System President Jay B. Silveria. “A native Arkansan, graduate of the Walton College, and  accomplished businesswoman, Ashley brings a love of the state and a strong understanding of higher education’s role in economic development. I am looking forward to getting to know her and work alongside her to advance the mission of the UA System.”
