LITTLE ROCK (Thursday, July 18, 2024) – The Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas has called a special meeting to be held via videoconference and in person at 3:30 p.m. today (July 18) originating at the UA System – Cammack Campus in Little Rock.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider the recent retirement announcement of UA System President Dr. Donald R. Bobbitt, which was made July 16, and to plan for a national search for the next president. The UA Board is expected to go into executive session at the start of the meeting before reconvening to a public session to announce any decisions reached by vote and to address any potential additional public items.
*PLEASE NOTE: The remote viewing portion of the public meeting will not begin at 3:30 p.m. The Zoom audience will begin streaming live following the executive session when the board reconvenes for the public session.
