Kimberly Hendricks Jones

Kimberly Hendricks Jones is currently serving as the Interim Director for the University of Arkansas System’s Criminal Justice Institute (CJI). She has dedicated more than 25 years to the Institute, with the last 15 years spent in senior leadership roles. As Assistant Director of the Education and Training Center (ETC), she provided strategic oversight for statewide programs in law enforcement management, forensic sciences, drug training, violence against women initiatives, and most recently, the Arkansas Center for School Safety, helping to shape the professional development of law enforcement officers across Arkansas.

A respected executive-level leader, Kimberly brings a deep commitment to excellence in organizational leadership, budget management, and conflict resolution. She is known for her collaborative leadership style and commitment to public service. Her dedication to the vision of CJI and the University of Arkansas System continues to drive innovation, equity, and excellence in law enforcement education statewide.

As a certified law enforcement instructor, Kimberly has designed and delivered impactful in-person and online training for both law enforcement and civilian audiences. Her expertise in curriculum development and course selection for delivery within the State has helped further CJI’s mission of delivering relevant, high-quality education and training.

She holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Cum Laude, from Philander Smith College. In addition to her formal education, she has completed several specialized leadership and diversity programs, including the Arkansas Leader Executive Management Program, jointly sponsored by CJI and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This program has been designated as one of the FBI’s sixteen Command Colleges.
